Empowering Education, Enabling Futures
Project Kartavya collaborates closely with stakeholders in schools, especially teachers and principals, to create platforms where children can explore various career paths through activities like career exhibitions, career clubs, and expert presentations from different sectors. We also engage with parents to enhance their positive parenting skills, expose them to diverse educational and career options, and improve communication with their children. These initiatives collectively create a conducive environment at home, school, and in the community, fostering a supportive atmosphere for children’s growth and development.
Saving Futures, Shaping Lives
Rajesh’s Journey to Empowerment: On January 29, Rajesh’s father, Utpal Dutta, lost his job due to the recession. With no income and an elderly mother suffering from colitis, their financial situation deteriorated rapidly. The pressing need to pay Rs. 30,000 in school fees by February 7, 2020, seemed insurmountable.
Prachi’s Journey to Education
From Chores to Classrooms: Prachi, an 8-year-old from rural India, was destined for domestic chores until Divya, a volunteer, enrolled her in school. With community and government support, Shelter of Love charitable trust has enrolled over 1.4 million out-of-school girls, transforming their futures.
Our Intervention
The Shelter Of Love Charitable Trust stepped in, launching a 40-day crowdfunding campaign that successfully raised Rs. 30,750. This timely support enabled Rajesh to continue his education without interruption, proving that together, we can overcome any challenge.
Project Kartavya: Empowering Youth Futures
- Skills for Life We offer a 3-month Livelihood program for aspirants aged 18 to 25. Training includes Life Skills, English, IT, Career Development, Mentoring, and Placement opportunities, helping convert passion into employment.
- Continued Success Support After training, we assist with interview and placement processes, monitor youths for 6 months in their jobs, and provide parent meetings, exposure visits, extracurricular activities, and mentoring by corporate volunteers.
- Interactive Learning Experience Our experienced trainers conduct high-quality, interactive developmental interventions. We promote Language, Personality Development, and Digital Skills training through partners, facilitating placements via corporate internships.
- Community-Focused Empowerment We connect, partner, engage, empower, and unite youths to address local community issues, fostering teamwork and generating opportunities for their communities.
- Guiding Towards Success Through career exhibitions, career clubs, and expert presentations, we create platforms for children to explore various career paths, ensuring a holistic and inclusive education.
